What to wear to an autumn wedding? The autumn-winter season will be full of silhouettes enhancing cuts, heavy, draped materials, and dark, gothic inspirations (the latter are not recommended for weddings unless it's a themed wedding that welcomes such "vampire" looks and is consistent with the dress code).
On the runways, long dresses with puffy sleeves dominate. There is also a lot of leather, tulle, fringes and feathers, which will come in handy at parties. Midi length models, inspired by the 50s, with a strongly emphasized waist and A-line cut, are still in vogue.
Among the colors, lilac will be exceptionally trendy, as well as burgundy, deep green, navy blue, fuchsia, grey, brick red, brown, warm pink and olive.
Autumn wedding dresses: put on pink... and done!
If you're not sure which dress cut to choose, go for an optimistic and joyful color, preferably one of the most fashionable: pink in a powder shade or strong fuchsia or magenta.
